Laboratory Visits organized at the technical facility ‘Nuclear Materials’

The D2 facility, the Chevreul Institute’s center of expertise dedicated to radionuclide handling, organized visits on Friday, April 25, 2025.

During the presentation, the team will introduce their research topic (like fuel cycle, industrial collaborations etc) while demystifying practices related to uranium and thorium chemistry.

 

You will also have the opportunity to learn more about material management protocols and radiation protection measures in place.

 

The visit is open to all the staff : PhD students, interns, researchers, engineers, technicians, as well as anyone curious to learn more about practical challenges of radiation protection  in a research environment.

The visits, organized in small groups, will last between 30 minutes and 1 hour and will take place throughout the day.
